2019 fly fishing season is upon us beginning May 25th, 2019 on the Williamson and Wood rivers. Rod and gear changes this year: you'll be fishing from a new Clackacraft 16' LP Flypod. It has been a good start to the 2015 season which began May 23rd. The river is in fine shape with good water levels and clarity. Catching lots of fresh fish from the lake. Hatches are a mixed bag of PMD's, baetis, and caddis.
A few hexagenia are starting to show during the day signaling the imminent arrival of the full blown evening hatches. Hexagenia will hatch for a couple weeks till mid-July.
